Ruta Jusionyte

Born in Lithuania in 1978, Ruta Jusionyte lives and works in Provence. A 2019 laureate of an Académie des beaux-arts prize, she now exhibits both in France and internationally.

Through painting and sculpture, the artist develops a deeply personal universe at the crossroads of dreams, fairy tales, and mythology. Human figures, animals, and legendary creatures meet in compositions bathed in ochres, ambers, and vivid colors.
